Simyawn e Tun-de-taez

Simyawn

Ingredients:
1 egg
1/2 c milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tbsp paprika
1/2tbsp crushed hot pepper
1/2tbsp hot chill powder
1 tbsp crisco oil
2.5 cups flour

Step by Step
-Take all the ingredients listed above and mix it in a bowl until dough forms (add flour as needed)

-The flour will look a bit orangey..this is normal!!!

-Now after the dough is ready you will wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for about an hour!

~1 hour later~

You will need vegetable oil (2 cups) and a pan on high!

-Take a roller and roll the dough out flat about 1/4 thick

-Now you can take a machine (shown below) or if you do not have it you may use a knife or any type of utensil. With this device you make shapes (noodle shape)

-Now take a bowl, fill it with vegetable oil about a 2 cups, put it on high, and dip the dough in until golden brown..about 3 mins.

-now place it on a napkin so the oil can come off a little, repeat this until all is done.

-when finished, if you want it more spicer add some more hot chill powder on top!

****enjoy and let me know how it turns out!

CHURAG (sweet bread)

CHURAG

ingredients:
3 cups milk
1.5 cups sugar
1/4 oz of yeast
1/2 cup vegetable oil
about 6 cups flour

STEP BY STEP:
first boil the milk or put it in the microwave. (room temp milk)
then pour the milk into the bow, add the sugar, oil, yeast, and flour.
With your hand mix all the ingredients and make sure it turns into dough. (if it does not, add more flour until it turns into dough)
Cover the finished dough with a blanket and put it for 1.5-2 hours until the dough has risen. (You will notice the dough rise so high it will get out the bowl, this is normal)
Then you divide the dough into small balls, about the size of a tennis ball.
Then roll the balls into snakes, long vertical wise.
Then shape it to any design you’d like.
Then put it on a desk, table or in the over (without it on) and let the dough relax, then once it has relaxed (10mins) get 2 eggs and crack it, and divide the whites and yellows. Take the yellows and mix it and wipe it on top of the relaxed dough (this will make it golden)
Then put it in the oven, 350 degrees for 45 mins, keep your eye on it.
Let me know how your creations turn out! If you have any questions leave them below!
